My name is Jordan Nelson, and I am a 3rd year medical student that is a part of the CSTAHR organization (Community and Students Together Against Healthcare Racism). We are getting ready to host our annual Greg White Lecture on November 15th. The Greg White Lecture was created in partnership with the Department of Family Medicine with a goal of finding topics that relate to the black community and health disparities, guided by our CSTAHR community members.
Our speaker this year is Dr. Elaine Nsoesie, professor of public health at Boston University.

Associate Professor, School of Public Health, Boston University
Research currently focused on the use of data science methods to study the impact of policy on racial health inequities
Holds a PhD in computational epidemiology and a master’s degree in statistics from Virginia Tech, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park
