Black Patients Matter

My name is Mercedes A. Harvey and I am a third year medical student at Rocky Vista School of Osteopathic Medicine. I attended last night's Mile High Medical Society meeting where there was a call for the submission for any publications or works that had been done that uplifted the black community. I wrote an article that was published in the December issue of the Colorado Medical Society titled, "Black Patients Matter: The impact of the current racial climate through the eyes of a third-year medical student" and I wanted to provide the link to the article in case the Mile High Medical Society was interested.
